Arteta told Havertz to go at Konate a few years ago, and I eventually paid Off, VVD rarely has bad games but The Others can, so he isn't always the Target, When his defensive Partners are Isolated, he has more work to Do usually, and it eventually affects the Team

VVD will take care of Gyok and I say this as an Arsenal fan. I think VVD struggles against technical players (Isak, Alvarez) not brutes like Haaland and Gyok. Although one good through ball from eze to Gyok could end it all.
Ik konates been poor recently but an in form Konate would bully Gyokeres let alone Van dijk. Havertz would probably do better in a game like this cos he can drop off which vvd and Konate always get caught out when it happens

VVD last two games have been doing absolutely insane work. Against bouremouth he had 17 clearances. Against new castle 13. Even if he gets just a little support from other defenders he will keep the backline safe from easily. Just need konate and kerkez to get their act together. Kerkez was good against new castle barring that error compared to bournemouth. Konate needs to pull up his weight . Even if he contributes 20-25 percent more VVD will take care of the rest.
Fair enough Van Dijk can stop Gyokeres but I think eze will change things, it's not just gyokeres in attack, Arsenal got a lot of dangerous forwards now.
