  1. Doué and Dembelè?? LMAO as if they're the main guys. They're like the supporting characters in PSG. Their main guys are Vitinha, Mendes and Hakimi not these guys who just benefit

  2. Frank Leboeuf discusses PSG's criticism of France's national team after Ousmane Dembele and Desire Doue suffered injuries while on international duty. Leboeuf defends the national team, explaining the protocols in place and noting that Dembele's injury was on a different hamstring.

  3. Very sad that Desiré Doué got injured. I'm not a fan of PSG but I watch their UCL games to see that guy play. He's a magician like Yamal 🪄

  4. So please anybody give me some insight into this bc I truly don't know the answer.. so if the national team comes calling and the player decides he doesn't want to be part of the national team he wants to stay out with his club.. so the national team will suspend the player from what?? That's what I kind of understood from frank.. doesn't the player have the right if he wants to play for the national team or not??

  5. Blaming a country preparing for the biggest tournament in the world while you went to the club world cup just after the season ends. Didn't hear any club complain about it did we. If clubs were receiving money from each international player they woul6shut their mouth 😂😂😂

  6. I'm very concerned about Doue's shock injury.
There's a reason that Champions League Final Player of the Match are destined to be "cursed" with an injuries shortly after. We saw this happening for Rodri, Carvajal, VVD, etc.
But again, FIFA should be blamed for giving this utterly worthless "international breaks".

  7. Frank doesn't let reality get in the way of a good story (or in the way of defending his old teammate Deschamps). What he doesn't mention is that PSG sent a letter to the French federation 2 days before the game, saying that they were surprised and concerned that 2 of their players, who they consider injured, were called and kept by the national team. They also say they shared all medical info and data, but got no communication from the national team squad. And they asked that both injured players (Dembele and Hernandez) be kept off the pitch in order to protect their health.

Following that Dembele was still kept with the national team, had only one training session with the squad the day before the game, and his performance during that training session was at a level that would have seen him not selected in PSG (couldn't accelerate anywhere close to his standard levels: he can go up to 35/36km/h normally, couldn't do 29 in training).

He also didn't get asked whether he felt like playing (or if he wanted to stay with the squad at the beginning of the week), and in the end was told he wouldn't play more than 20 minutes (he got subbed in at half time, and got injured after 33 minutes on the pitch).

Finally let's be honest here, there is not one person with a vague interest in football that doesn't know that Dembele is a fragile player, and that he's injury prone, taking chances with him and pretending not to know that is just ridiculous. Also it's worth noting that Dembele came on for an injured Doue while France was dominating Ukraine and already 1-0 up, and Deschamps had other credible options on the pitch (Ekitike who had a great start with Liverpool, Akliouche who is on fire with Monaco, Thuram if he reschuffled Barcola to the right wing and Mbappe to the left). So you've got to wonder how in this situation, at this particular point, the right decision could be to put Dembele on the pitch…
