🫥 Nick: We’re at a 30 year old Raheem Sterling now. He’s been playing since he was 16. No team is going to take him on 325k a week or pay more than 15 million pounds for him.

  1. A 30 year old who started playing consistently in the prem at 17, who relies more on his athleticism is very much past his peak unfortunately.

He grew up in London and is now in a scenario where he lives there, is on 300k+ a week. He has no incentive to go. People can't throw the usual "he has no motivation to win, wasting career etc etc" because he's practically won everything and was a key part of doing so with city.

As a Chelsea fan, I can't be mad at him. It's not his fault the club gave him such high wages. At this point he effectively gets paid to spend a few days a week working😂

  2. At this point, there's no logical reason why Sterling wouldn't take a wage cut if he ever wants to play again. But he may be fine with never playing again while making the big money.
