  1. The mistake Chelsea made was offering him 325k per week. I dont really blame him at all. He would rather stay at Chelsea and collect his big bag while not playing football than reduce his salary and go someplace else. I dont think he even wants to play football at all. Also, Ben chilwells contract was terminated by mutual consent.

  2. Another Winston Bogarde. good luck to Sterling , take the money , Chelsea nuts to pay him so much . Keep fit , turn up , give no interviews and count the money.
Chelsea needed two goalscorers , and a top keeper. Usual madness , buy Sarr, sent him out on loan. Chilwell on loan to Strasbourg . We need defenders now .

  3. If Sterling wants to carry on playing football he should negotiate a contract with a team within their wage structure. He must have plenty in the bank

  4. Sterling's days at a high level are over, been so for a while now. He lost his place at city, then he couldnt fit in and produce consistently at Chelsea, and last year did next to nothing at Arsenal. Arsenal which had major injury problems in attack and he couldnt secure a position as even an impact sub. He knows at this point hes not worth the money hes currently getting and so will never again get that kind of contract anywhere else but the Saudi league maybe. I see him pulling a 'Gareth Bale' and just sitting out his contract then retiring after attempting a comeback in some second tier league.

  5. Sterling signed a contract willingly, he refuses to do what the manager asks of him, and he refuses to take less money so that he can be transferred somewhere he can actually play. All of this is his problem, he does not perform like a 300k a week player, which is why no club is willing to pay the wages he's demanding.

  6. At least get a Chelsea spokesperson who is serious and not follow the crowd, fed up with these talksport Chelsea ex players and her slagging the club off, Cundy and Joe Cole the weekend were a disgrace

  7. Sign players on stupid contracts, end up with that player stuck on the books and getting £9000 per hour to do nothing. And we're supposed to believe that the owners of these teams know what they are doing? 😅😂

  8. Poor Sterling, he desperately wants to play football but he's skint and can't feed his kids if he isn't earning a third of a million per week 😭If someone would pay him those wages he'd be over the moon to be playing the game that he loves. 🤔 Although, he won't go to Saudi or Turkey in fact he won't go anywhere other than an English premier league Club. One that's not in the north, or the east, or the west. In fact he'll only play for a London Club playing in the premier League that will pay him the same wages that he's on at the moment and the clubs name has to start with the letter Z. I can honestly say that I never rated Sterling even before he got his Zimmer Frame. Please Chelsea give him away and pay his wages just to get rid of him. Respect to Andy Carroll, a player that truly wants to play the beautiful game.

  9. Sterling chose to get money without actually playing.. Chelsea must make sure he never touch a ball again coz he choose to retire so Chelsea should not even allow him to train in Cobham make sure his body never fit to touch a ball again

  10. Not sure how Sterling has a ‘problem’ being on 300 bags a week. Man’s chilling, building his generational wealth and watching his kids grow in financial security.

  11. Sterling is earning a weekly wage of 325k which essentially means Chelsea can't even give him away because nobody can afford anywhere near those wages.
If Raheem won't reduce the wages, which it appears he won't, if Raheem won't even leave London let alone the country, which it appears he won't, then Raheem as effectively embraced the fact that he can no longer play football until his contract is run down, which is in 2 more years.
Sterling could easily play in England, probably even London, but he'd have to accept a dramatic wage reduction which he clearly won't.
He won't even back himself by taking a wage cut, getting a loan or a transfer, play well and earning a good contract again and he's wise to know that because he's a lousy footballer, at least I've always thought so.
They gave him the contract, he can do what he wants, and he is, but he won't play again until he cuts those wages or runs his contract out.

  12. Why should we sign another goalkeeper and keep stock piling then become a laughing stock…
We have penders coming through; signing another goalkeeper would affect his development for next season.
We’re happy with Sanchez for now.

  13. So Ally first says footballers want to play football but then 2 mins later says he has a contract that needs to be honoured and no one should force him to Saudi. Fair enough, but let’s not feel bad for him, he has made it clear what’s more important to him. And forget Saudi, he clearly doesn’t want to take a pay cut and play anywhere else in the Prem either. So let’s just agree that it’s a money and lifestyle choice and football is less important to him now

  14. pathetic from Sterling, you have just given up playing competitive football again out of financial greed. How can you limit yourself to just London clubs, when you stunk it up at 2/7 in last few years and you still wouldn't start at the other 5/7, even if they could afford your wages. Only clubs remotely interested were Besiktas and Saudi based clubs. Interesting how Sancho does the same thing and people say its disgusting, yet when Sterling does it, its good on him.
