We already have a good CB partnership in Gabriel and Ben White. With Saliba in the mix, Arteta's gonna have a headache if he wants to integrate Saliba into the system. Which is a good thing btw, standards will hopefully rise and we can progress even further.

yeah hes good, but lets not forget apart from PSG, and a couple of other teams, the French League is like 4-5th best league in Europe, so far so good, yes against mbappe etc, thats fine, but week in week out against the best league in the worlds players would make him look shitter.

EPL is far different from French league
Saliba looks like a cross between White (comfortable on the ball )and Gabriel (strong and fast)
I hope I'm wrong but i will say it. He needs more time to mature to PL playing style and especially at Arsenal. Maybe a season long loan at any mid table premier league club could help him build up.

While these slide tackles are impressive especially on youtube, he needs to improve his positioning and rely less on his recovery speed.
The best defenders avoid this as much as possible, BUT he is only 20 years old 😮. So he is going to be a beast CB if keeps improving.
this guy is so good. hes playing CB and RB by how much he is covering the defensive issues from his right back. if he had a good rb he would not have to keep going out and leaving his position. but his speed is underrated as his strides look heavy. he will only get better
