  1. The fact that this isn’t even the first time we had to deal with racism relating to a BVB game this season is very sad, these people need to get help

At least I’m seeing more positive recent comments telling him to keep his head up than racist ones though, that’s what I like to see

Absolute idiots, anyone resorting to this kind of racist behaviour is pathetic.

In any case this shouldn’t be blamed on Mane, it’s his debut and young players are young players – they will make mistakes. It’s also not his fault that we don’t have more experienced options to put on the pitch in pressured situations right now.

  3. I really have a hate for how social media has become, no person should be racist just because someone get a red card, I also have my doubts they are actual fans too, I do hope we get 1 or 2 more Center backs, I do think we need some reinforcements if we were to use 3 cb

  4. What an absolute fucking prick. Beyond disgusting behavior from any “fan”.

Poor guy is just a 20 y/o youngster who got thrown into the mix today because of poor management. I really hope Mane can keep his head up and push through. Can’t imagine how he’s feeling right now.

  5. I feel sad for Mané. Not only for this, but the whole situation. He hasn’t played a single minute with the team before, and now he’s expected to start every game until September…it’s nuts.

  6. betting addicts are really a weird bunch. imagine betting on Dortmund and then being salty to the point of a public racist crashout that BVB didn’t win.

  7. German Football has a MASSIVE racism issue. It was obvious with everything happening at the Lok Leipzig – Schalke match, after our Cup match where the Essen player had to deactivate his social media. And now this. Every week it happens and nothing is done to prevent this. It makes me so sick. These stupid racists gain the upper hand slowly day by day. We must stop it.

Tbh, i think “Doppelbestrafung” double punishment was so unnecessary there. It wasnt an assault or something too physical, it was away from the Ball, it was in the pen area and the Pauli Player had (arguebly) no Chance of getting that Ball first. Yes its ok to give a yellow and a pen, since its a tacticl foul, but a Red? Idk. Wasnt last man, wasnt an obvious prevention of a goal, wasnt anything too physical… so a Red is kinda harsh imo

Yeah right. It’s the black guys who ruins everthing…
Try take out the african guy up top and see what happens to this team.

  10. I mean as a black man this is this the kind of crap I point to when I talk about racism/casual racism being alive and well. Not just in the US , but europe where they “dont even care about race.”

It could be bots, could be real people, but usually its a mix of both. The fact it exists is a problem. We can never be truly left alone. And people say to ignore it but the problem is that racism leaks into other aspects of life. That person could be a doctor, store owner, police offer, a co-worker, parent, teacher/instructor. Racism permeates everything and it must be eradicated. If they’re racist over a sport imagine else wear? But no-none thinks of that. If they are quick to type, say slurs, and get violent over a sport imagine other situations?
