  1. Tyler Adams has put a lot of questions to rest with his recent form not only for club but looking forward to the WC as well. Fans have seemed to recognize his ability in the midfield and has recognized that while he is not Philips his role is clear with Roca. On the ball he has improved and will get better. Was waiting for this thanks Jake. Keep it up!

  2. I was skeptical of Adams given my reasoning was that he doesn't bring much forward. I do hope he continues his form at Leeds and establishes himself as one of the top CDMs in the EPL.

  3. I like to think of 5 categories: World Class, Elite, Quality, Squad, Poor. With these labels, I'd put Tyler Adams in the upper Quality region. Once the season really settles in, if he's still performing consistently at this same level, then I'd move him into Elite.

  4. He's playing good but stills making mistakes. He sometimes gives the ball up specially when he plays for the national team. Once he fixes that maybe we are talking world class.

  5. The young man is getting better for Leeds United will get better didn't give Chelsea player's a minute on the ball. Will be a Leeds United 🦚 legend marching on together, we all love Leeds, keep fighting 🦚🇮🇨✊👊

  6. 3 games and you think he will be world class … mate your delusional hes never going to be world class hes ok but hes playing in a double pivot … hes is the guy that breaks up play and presses and rocca is the one that distrubutes the ball…he will never be one of the best def mids in the prem … the one that could become world class is aarenson .. not adams…. you wanna see a world class def mid … thats man citys Rodri

  7. Good analysis! It’s like he is a step ahead and can pre-empt their next move. What a valuable player he is! He knows exactly his role in the team and executives it really well. I think with him playing, we (Leeds Utd) will have a higher win percentage. Long may it continue.
He will only get better with experience, and I hope he stays for the long term, and can achieve something special with Jesse and the full squad.
    ALAW! 🔵🟡⚪️

  8. Born in Leeds, supported the team since the mid sixties, I think over time Tyler Adams will be world class. He reminds of Billy Bremmner, he is central to the success of the team and sets the tone with his energy level. The double pivot with Marc Roca will be more effective than Calvin Phillips alone.

  9. Nice analysis. I love these things about Adams’ game. I see some of the same in Joe Scally, minus the speed.

  10. The frequency at which Tyler knocks knees with opposing players when making challenges makes me a little nervous

  11. World Class is a term used quite often, yet seems to have a pretty varying opinion as to precisely what it really means. Until the is established- it is difficult to have a coherent discussion. Almost have to do what many contracts/papers do- preface with a definition of terms so everyone is on the same page. Otherwise you end up having parallel arguments. All that aside- Tyler is quickly looking like a pretty good bet to be a very good PL DM with possibility should this trajectory of development continue to be at the level to start for a top 5 side. As always- a player well matched to system/tactics is key. Nice analysis! Always good to see a point of view backed up by film/facts.

  12. I think his strongest characteristic is the speed of his mind. This applies to he defensive work, but also how quickly and accurately he passes the ball afterwards.

  13. i’m not trying to make a comparison because adams is not at his level yet, but someone who reminds me of adams is kante, adams always does a surprise press like kante does.

  14. Despite it only being a tie against a team like Everton, Adam’s played really good today. The goal Everton got was just a really unlucky ball that Llorente should’ve got

  15. Tyler the “Terror” he makes boring defensive midfield standstills into super exciting games within the game. Most fans don’t even see it happening. The Chelsea game was a fine example of Tyler the “Terror”. I truly wonder if Connor Gallagher woke up in cold sweats for the next couple of nights.

  16. Tyler has been ridiculously good at Leeds. Man utd have been rumoured to have him on their shortlist. Luckily leeds have him on a 5 year contract

  17. People underestimate his passing ability as well. I have seen him play some really nice line breaking passes for Leeds United. The only thing he might want to work on a bit is his awareness of late runs, and cut backs as he can get caught ball watching at times. But he's only played 1/3rd of a season in the Premier League so I expect that to improve.
