I just wish Emre would’ve been on the pitch, he would’ve showed that player that it’s not ok to do that kind of braindead challenge.
Honestly I hated how our squad reacted to it. Or in fact, the lack of reaction. You need to defend your teammate there and check on him more than that.

The way our team reacted to it was concerning. I know there was a bit of tension in the end, but it looked like some didn’t even care.

As much as people complain about the VAR, this was a scene where it would have been nice to have. I hope that guy gets a penalty afterwards, dunno if that’s possible if the ref admits he didn’t properly see what happened
