  1. The defeat is a blessing disguise. It means the squad especially the new players will be focused for the new season. As my mam used to say, every disappointment is for a good.

  2. Way to take ownership, and show us fans that we intended on winning this game.

We need to defend better as a team, and personnel need to be disciplined in their roles regardless if that is their natural roles or not.

We have alot of work to do defensively, and attack wise we need to be more direct and stop overplaying and overpassing the ball

    🗣️Sign a CB

  3. A very BAD DAY for Our 2 most important players.

Salah, once again in a ONE-OFF game or finals, was very very POOR (the WORST penalty of the lot)

It's now 12 major finals in Salah have only scored ONE GOAL (penalty in the CL against Spurs) No goals in open play in 12 finals.

This is why he's always overlooked in Ballon d'Or honours.

It seems the occasion gets the better of him in finals.

  4. You win and you lose…it's all okay Liverpool ❤ They have so much pressure this season to be at their finest but it's hard to impress everyone every time..sometimes a loss can teach a lot so we should learn from it

  5. I personally don't think new signings are Liverpool's problem,at least today. 2 goals from 2 new signings is not a waste of money.
Yeah, the whole team will need more time to blend for the maximum effect but there are already promising signs.
I think the problem is discipline & mental resilience, which we've not really shown since Klopp's departure.
Last season against PSG showed that. You could feel fear & doubts in players' comments & attitude. While PSG were bold & believed they would win at Anfield-Something that most teams would not even dream of. And Alas, Liverpool couldn't get a goal at Anfield on a massive European night.
They felt as long as they win the Premier League, it's ok.

  6. VVD is the problem..he looks lethargic and out of position. We need reinforcements, he need to fight for his game..he is no sacred cow..Gravenberg has been protecting the backline..

  7. Players are not robots. Virgil is a class act 99% of the time. Today he hasn't been at his best but he will know that more than anyone else. I'm sure we can all excuse VVD the odd hiccup here and there because it's a rare event and we would not swap him for any other centre back in world football.

  8. Those who think footie is just an on pitch issue are in for a world of hurt. VVD was out sick right? He doesnt play his best and you bash him nxa. You will crawl from the seats and play yourselves this season if ypu continue to see these players as robots.

  9. Arne needs to tell Edwards hughes ward to bring him a quality ie
    2 x CB
    No6
    Wide attacker
    STRIKER

    This month

    My choice ie
    Guehi, Collins
    Ederson or Luiz on loan
Rodrygo on loan, Barcola or Leao
    Isak

    Then we retain the title

  10. VVD and Konate was awful. Overated and useless. Salah non existence. Curtis Jones was very very poor. Robertson should go. Tsimiskas should go too.
Disappointed with the result. Future looks bleak for Liverpool this season.
