It's baffling how Jamie Carragher, when asked about Gakpo during the Leicester match, was sounding indifferent about the player and didn't even bother to finish his thoughts on him when some minor thing happened in the game. This has been a mindset among the fans as well. It's probably a good thing to have low expectations given his low fee and being an Eredivisie player.
