      Leaving Trent out for walker is ridiculous and keeping the same tired front four is crazy when you’ve got premier league quality players on the bench, Southgate didn’t respect the other players on the bench enough even the third group game he could have made changes but never bothered, Trent is world class with the ball at his feet how he wasn’t in at right back is crazy, yes walker is quick but even with his pace he was caught out of position multiple times during the tournament.

Here is is slagging Southgate and wanting him out yet 24hts later when Southgate has quite Durham's on the radio again saying 'how sad' he feels that Southgate resigned. The sheer hypocrisy of the cretin. The more I listen to this shite station the more I feel that they simply have bigmouths on there who's sole intention is clickbait for advertising revenue.

      How about putting players on where the play week in week out. The actual reason they made the squad in the first place.
      In the group, a fairly weak group, he could have done that and prepared the whole squad for the next round.
      It couldn't have been worse than what happened.

      Ahh I see. Foden kane saka bellingham Watkins palmer Bowen eze wasn’t enough attacking players. You guys just need to admit the players bottled, not Southgate. They sat back at 1-1 even after Gareth made attacking subs

      Southgate just isn't very good tactically, which is a shame because he's good at everything else. He sets us up in a way he imagines will work, but as soon as the whistle blows the opposition start to work us out, make changes, and he doesn't react because he doesn't know what to do. It's the same pattern over an over again it's as clear as day. The good teams find us easy to beat because they adapt and we don't.

      Jarrod Bowen – 19 PL goals and plenty of assists. Gordon and Palmer have been brilliant all season. Yet he would rather play Bellingham/Foden on the left just to keep them happy

      It's a disgrace the way people have treated Gareth Southgate one minute he is the best manager of England and now he's being called to resign, at the end of the day the 11 players on the pitch are professional football players, it is down to them whether they win or lose, dont blame the manager. Had England won the Euro 24 you would all be cushing about him saying he is the best manager ever , how hypocritical of you.

      Southgate will always be remembered for teaching side pass , back pass , back to the goal keeper and repeat , the final was a perfect opportunity for garth to send out a side spain could not defend against, Gordon/ palmer and Watkins on a mobile top three and kane plus Bellingham available as super subs

      England was missing Cole Palmer in the middle because his a natural playmaker like Mainoo!!! They needed a Paul Scholes kind of player who spots his teammates before making his pinpoint passes!!!!

      Cole Palmer can provides you those killer passes, Antony Gordon can be your Nico william . Foden was useless in the England shirt since he became the senior team member, I literally never see him played well for England part from the first half of the Netherlands game

      Southgoat is a clown. He is totally inept tactically. He picked the players he personally likes for the squad and the starting lineups. Taking players that are injured or can’t even get in their club teams. He should never have been any national team coach.

      You have to compare England to the rest of the teams. Only England fans and pundits thought England had the best squad. If you ask most football fans who is the best player in their respective position in Europe no one in the England team would be in the discussion.

      I think the stat that he used 21/26 players is hiding the reality of his reluctant use of the squad. I'd like to know how many of the 26 featured in normal game time across all the matches and how many minutes in total.

      Here we go what's not coming home? apart from a poor England team who were finally shown up by a quality Spain team. I am truly amazed England even made it past the last 16 nevermind all the way to the final even with the easy as route you had. Southgate got it all wrong with the squad selection and the drama of who to play where but to be fair too many individuals for the same positions who are well out of their comfort zones when not playing with their club counterparts who are mostly quality foreign players and not English. He and the rest of the England staff have had years to figure out a good playing system with the talent on offer and gel them into something decent.

      As a national team it needs some serious thinking about otherwise this endless England supporter, commentator coming home chat will continue for another 58 years.
