Alexander Isak is reportedly doing everything possible to force his way out of Newcastle — faking injuries, skipping duties, and making his intentions clear. But what’s even more shocking is the way some Liverpool fans are defending it.

Why? Because they think Newcastle “deserve it” after what happened with Trent Alexander-Arnold.

This isn’t football rivalry — it’s hypocrisy. In this video, I break down what’s actually happening, why Isak’s behaviour is out of order, and why justifying this with fan pain isn’t the way forward.

👇 Drop your thoughts. Is Isak out of order? Or are Newcastle to blame?

  1. I mean Liverpool fans are not wrong it definitely does happen a lot in football trent isnt a great example but Coutinho and Suarez and Sterling are Liverpool saw these players talent when they were young they brought them in and made them stars but because during that time Liverpool wasnt winning much the players went to the clubs that were winning and there is nothing wrong with that a players career is short especially for players like Isak who do get injured more often

  2. I’m a Liverpool fan, here’s what I have to say:

    – I don’t think Trent was a snake. Most of our fanbase think otherwise, but I agree with you that he wanted the move, and that’s fine, he did it in a respectful manner, by playing his heart out until the very last game, and I agree that, just because he wanted to leave Liverpool, fans shouldn’t disregard the loyalty he’s had up until then.

    – Isak wants to go. Yes, he’s put pen to paper that he would stay three years longer, but the difference is, he’s not going to go for free. Newcastle should respect his decision as well as at the same time only let him go for a certain amount.

    – I however do NOT think he’s a spoiled brat. He isn’t as good as Haaland (well, he had a better season in 24/25 but Haaland had been on top of the world for seasons before Isak started to explode), but you have to admit, the margin isn’t massive. My point is, Haaland makes £525k at City, whereas Isak makes £120k at Newcastle. Haaland is NOT over 4x as good of a player as Isak is, Isak has a right to demand so much, because he’s suddenly developed into a world class player. Other clubs are willing to fulfil his demands, why shouldn’t Newcastle?

Isak also isn’t just in it for money. Liverpool win trophies. Yes, Newcastle have made it into the CL, but do they have a chance at winning it? Probably not. Liverpool do.

Overall, Isak – a world class striker – has a right to demand so much to stay at a club that doesn’t win trophies.

(May I also remind you that you made a video saying that Liverpool fans “were on copium” thinking that Isak would actually come to Liverpool.)

I’m happy to have a healthy debate, but please don’t turn this into a hate-filled argument, I come in peace.

  3. It’s the way of modern sports. As an American, i can say this. It’s 10x worse over here. Here teams are forced to give up “Isak Talent” for young prospects and mediocre talent. At least Newcastle can get 120+ million.
When money and agents are involved loyalty and honor go out the window, sadly

  4. To be fair. He ws an academy Lad and that club should have got more for him it was dirty of him. I heard Liverpool aproached the club first, and didn't go behind Newcastles back like Real Madrid. It's completley different! The two incidents and players are completley different. But asking for 300K a week, yeah, it is a bit greedy. If one player demands it in a team, they all demand it. It can cause instabillity within the team. IMHO Anyway. That's my take on it. But Liverpool didn't do anything illegal, or backhanded or dirty???????????

  5. LFC fan here. Trent did what was best for him. Players need to capitalize on their prime playing years while they can. You can be a fan of players all you want but support a club. TAA did what was best for him, and Real were able to get him to run down his contract to get him on a free, fair play. Isak is currently underpaid and Newcastle will not be challenging for titles. He wants more money while he is still in his prime and can command it, and he wants the best possible opportunity to win trophies. Right now going to Liverpool is his best option. We as fans can not get upset at players for doing what is in their best interest and the best interest of their families. Being a supporter of a club means enjoying the good times because you have lived through the bad times. Newcastle should sell and invest in a few new players. At one point LFC were a selling club, but through sound fiscal policy, it became a buying club. Good for TAA, I wish him all the best. If Isak is able to get the move he wants, good for him too.

  6. Someone's hurt pep has spent 1.8 billion before addons in his 8 complete seaso . The moment LFC spends over 200m the rivals are triggered.

  7. A more reasonable comparison would be how Liverpool handled Diaz transfer. Luis requested to go to Bayern, and it was handled respectively, Luis is loved by Liverpool fans because of the player and person he is. Newcastle will get a bad rep for how they handle this transfer of Isak.
