Poland defender Jakub Kiwior acknowledged on Friday that France will pose a threat from all over the field when the two teams come together for their last 16 match at the World Cup on 4th December, but said that the squad is focused and ready for the fight.
“Everyone knows what kind of players the France national football team has,” he said. “Everyone is aware that it’s not going to be an easy match.”
Poland have played the reigning champions only three times this century – all friendly internationals – and have lost by a single goal twice, drawing the other game 0-0.
