      Messi might be a great player but nobody could ever match Maradona as a character and amazing personality who inspired generations into football globally, he was globally motivational and funny also! He respected Messi who is currently greatest having just won the World Cup Qatar 2022 and never complaining but nobody will ever match Diego Maradona who even inspired Messi who would not be able to survive hard fouls, kicks and injuries Maradona faced in the worst condition football pitches especially in the absence of proper referring and VAR at club and international levels. Nobody has matched Maradona’s second goal 1986 World Cup or the first hand goal!

      Kane should have listened to Maradona to shoot low / within the goal box in Semi Final against France, instead of focusing too much on World Cup Qatar armband politics !

      Messi wins with all those stats . but i root for diego . he was always going to be the underdog . born in slums / dirt poor ( messi not ) , started in argentina ( messi barca ) , destroyed by Andoni Goikoetxea " butcher of bilbao " , most fouled player in history ( messi protected by modern rules , never seriously injured ) , Dragged the team to Victory through sheer Character & talent 1 hand goal + 4 goals + 5 asists in 86 WC ( messi need a good team , now WC x4 penalties , 3 goals & 3 asist ) , can join a team that never won anything in Napoli and bring to Champion ( messi wont bother to work so hard doing that , he always need a good team ) , diego destroyed by drugs and Mafia in italy ( messi safe in barca ) , there u have it ….>>> why diego is my #1 . and oh yes , Diego had personality !!!

      Maradona ironically predicted the future but tries to avert it by giving Harry an advice which he didn’t take seriously. In Harry’s mind “ Thank you old Man but football has evolved “ And some years later it happened against the same goalie used as a reference point by that Old Maradona. What a life!
