I mean I said it when Hazard left. We had the 2 best ball manipulators in the league and arguably the 2 best dribblers at the time. Now we still have 1 of them. The feet on Kova is ridiculous and the 1 thing which he lacked in end product hes added too. Hes comfortably top 3 midfielders in the Premier league without question and potentially among top 10 worldwide. Honestly only KDB gets in over him for me. Our best player at the club imo.
As a Real Madrid fan I always admired Mateo so much… if he would have played in the first leg it could have been different …I would kill for having him back at Real Madrid when Modric retires…
Have always rated this guy. Just a mystery why he is not played often(don't include injury). Should be ahead of Jorginho anytime of the day in the pecking order
Watched him get better over the years for Chelsea, and what a season he had last season, it was overshadowed by injuries but definitely he's best season for us individually
