      If I were City, I would cash in because he is 29 and might not recover 100% from that serious injury.
      Plus, every football fan knows Africans are the best in that position (for example, Makelele, Kante, Caicedo, etc).

      No pls no. Buy a centerback instead. This feels like its going to be Hazard 2.0. Hazard came to Madrid around the same age, however, unlike Hazard when he came to Madrid, Rodri is coming off an injury. This guy's knee is messed up. I was never impressed by Rodri, even when he was healthy. Nope

      In addition, I feel like this is fake news. I clearly remember, back in 2022 or 2023, Florentino Perez saying in an interview he'll never spend that kind of money again especially for an older player. Only younger players under 25. This strongly goes against his recent philosophy. If he's making a move for Rodri, I feel like he'll work something out to get him for a discount or for free, especially at age 29.
