    The reason why we’re not after any more attacking players(other than Carney on another loan).


    I get it's furstrating to see good players go left and right to our Bundesliga competitors(Tillman to Leverkusen, Bakayoko to RB, Burkhardt to Frankfurt) while we aren't moving for anybody.

    But this is already great depth and I think this is the attacking personnel the board is planning to go with next season.

      I’m in the boat of thinking we absolutely absolutely need a 10 for creativity. Don’t care if it’s a loan, we are severely lacking a creative outlet, depth aside

      The only problem is Brandt, more specifically his salary. We’re already top 10 in highest wage bills in Europe, adding someone on top of what we have would be crazy. At the end of this season we save 41m in salary, then I’d be more willing to spend big on a replacement. Until then, we’re just gonna have to ride the wave. Who knows, maybe Brandt gets his head out of his ass or Carney stays fit, we never know

      You cant plan with chuk nor duranville, jobe will be needed in cm eventually and nobody knows if haller still can compete on a Level we need.

      Theres one player missing with regular starter ambitions.

      Also keep in mind, while we typically only field those 3 attackers, there will be Situations where 4 or even 5 are needed on a pitch, like when chasing a deficit. So Chuck, duranville and adeyemi might be injured, who do we even sub in at that point?

      I don’t think haller and duranville are viable options at the moment

      This is not really great depth. It’s arguably not even really great starters. Duranville and Chuk are never fit, Jobe isn’t a 10, brandt is ass, Haller should not be playing for us anymore, Adeyemi is insanely hot or cold

      All our midfielders (Jobe, Nmecha, Groß, Sabitzer and, if he stays, chukwuemeka) aren‘t real „holding 6‘s“. Thats what is really missing imo. If we get a good 6, we should also try to get a creative 10 that can pressure Brandt.

      Yes, this looks terrible. Brandt shouldn’t be in the starting 11 anymore, Carney and Juju are in the hospital for most of the time, Jobe is needed in central midfield and Adeyemi is the most inconsistent player

      If we can get chuk on loan and another 10 like mcatee then I think we will be good within constraints that we are in. If we can offload any other players then we can replace them with suitable depth (Haller, Brandt, or sabitzer) but it is looking unlikely.
