Safe to say that Leeds United fans aren’t all that keen on Kalvin Phillips… As I’m sure many of you know, the defensive midfielder transferred to Manchester City over the summer for $52 million, however, due to increased competition in the center of the pitch + bad luck with injuries, he’s played just 12′ minutes across two appearances in 22/23. Today, in his first match back at Leeds United since the move, supporters were heard chanting, “You’re too fat to play for Leeds.” Casual bit of banter, or did they take things too far?
Either way, I’m left feeling like his transfer to City was a mistake. Do you think he regrets it?
