Darragh is top quality
Us Villa fans know what he’s got in his locker and for me we, have to bring him back and give him a fresh slate and a place to go and express himself. He strengthens our squad the minute he signs a contract and I can’t think of a more exciting prospect right now. Time will tell though. I’m under no disillusions that he might need to go abroad for a bit.
Causes fractions?
Grealish has failed at city everywhere apart from providing good moral in dressing room. He was good for 1 season in my opinion.
The wages won’t be a problem because let’s be honest Man City will pay half of it just to get rid. The problem will be the transfer fee. £100M for him was over inflated BUT what will they be willing to let him go for? If you can get him for £50M that should be about right but City will probably want more
Jack's off the field antics has killed him from pep's view. Shame because there is ability there and would have liked to see him try take over the kdb role.
Don't see £50m at 30 years old with 18 months of decline. £25-30 max with reduced wages and Man City paying off some of his contract. How many years left on his Man City deal, can't be that long unless he's renegotiated during his time at the Etihad.

If Southgate had taken Jack as an option to the euros the missing left side of the team would have been resolved. Pep trapped him on the wing, turned him into something he’s not…..when he should have turned him a midfielder.
