Moukoko’s problem is he doesn’t understand how to play football. He is not good enough to be a Messi. Now whether, because he was too old for his age group, he was badly let down by the th youth coaches.
Rather than winning youth trophies, he should have been taught how to move, where to position himself etc, when to pass.
The lack of game time has made things worse. What Moukoko needs is to really learn the tactical and positioning side of the game. He if got a bit stronger he still has everything needed to be a very good striker. For the next two years he needs to just play as much football as possible.

Convinced we found something out about his age. There were long periods of time where he showed enough potential to get SOME minutes, but we never played him. He eventually rode the bench so long there was no way back.
Hope he succeeds at Copenhagen, maybe he still becomes an elite striker and we bring him back in the future.

Moukoko could be one of those strikers, who scores 20+ goals in second tier, but never really see a major breakthrough at the highest level because they don’t offer enough besides their finishing.
