Manchester United should steer clear of Memphis Depay and target Marcus Thuram instead as a Cristiano Ronaldo in January. The French Gladbach striker is on fire this season, scoring 10 goals in 15 Bundesliga games. He provides a mixture of strength, pace, and technique that Manchester united United currently lacks.

In this video, I provide an in-depth analysis of Thuram as a player as well as how he would fit into Erik Ten Hag’s short and long-term plans at Manchester United.

  1. Love your videos man, I like how you keep them under 10 mins, it's very knowlegable and a bit entertaining. Nice sweet spot 🙌😉

  2. Memphis Depay is utter BOLLOCKS, he has always been a vastly over rated player, who fails to impress with his "powder puff" playing style. Yes man, Marcus Thuram is a wonderful player – I have watched in the Bundesleiga and he is quite brilliant – like his dad was. As ever man the Scarlet report – sheer brilliance and no bullshit truth. I adore you channel greatly.

  3. I was on Koné watch, early this season, and saw Thuram as well.

My God, he was awful. His touch was bad and decision making was piss-poor. Like I said it was early season so maybe he was just match unfit.

Great video. I haven't watched much of him and I trust your analysis. Also like the fact that his contract is almost up. Thanks!

  4. always a pleasure to hear your views. also gakpo osimhen and jonathan david are good options. no need for united to go for the likes of felix mbappe etc. all these big name players who are flooded with media attention and it takes them a season or two to perform (haaland has been an exception this season). also we need a midfield to cover up for eriksen and bruno because if they get injured or ill we are stuck with mcfred again :((((

  5. I do hope that all these actual left-wingers are not being targeted as strikers. Makes no sense to be dying for a number 9 only to go after wingers who have not ever and could not transition to being a 9 at least not right away and would be a huge gamble. Are there really no out-and-out numbers 9s out there of quality or what?

  6. I remember how Sancho was punted as a solution, fans were Glazers Out when Sancho wasn't signed for £100m. Which makes me very upset, because all these plastic fans wanted to brag. I'm wary of any player from a club from "borrusia". And also any player costing more than £60m. I don't know what Thuram will cost, but I'm tired of flops. Van Gaal promised that Martial is the player for the future and Marital has Ballon d'Dor clauses in his contract 🥱. So far I'm not seeing £100m Antony (Brazilian) yes he was injured, but that's the whole problem with big money signings – Hazard, Maguire, Couthinho, Torres (both), Pigba – unavailability due to injury and they have no resale value. The odds are they collect a fat wage while they run down their contract, hoping to attract another club because they have no xfer fee and they are greedy for a signing bonus. The clubs are held to ransom by these players and idiot fans want another shiny firetruck while the same fans buy knock-off shirts and will probably never attend a match. They don't give a single penny but demand this or that player, as along as it's not their money. Plastic , armchair fans, who want to brag about "their" team's performance or start shouting "Glazers Out" when they have zero investment except their time which they may use (or not use) to watch a match.

  7. This guy is so good and he’s literally the kind of player we need but don’t thin ETH will see this 😢 I wish he could wash this video

  8. Nice option. With your points, he's the best player to buy.
Only if Ten Hag will see this and do accordingly, it will save us from all these big names that has never delivered well despite the ransom
I always love your contents, they makes sense
