Casemiro's heat map looks like a mighty oak tree planted at the base of our defensive line stretching its generous and nurturing foliage up into the opposition half. After what seemed like an eternity playing with two frail saplings who could be blown over by a light breeze, we now have a single central defensive midfielder to withstand galeforce winds. A multifunctional, 2000hp JCB where before we had two go-karts.
Hopefully we get 3-4+ good seasons out of him.

Maguire wins most headers but heads like a balloon on goal and defensively just up in the air with no direction to team mates,Casemiro passing with headers shouldn’t be shocking but is due to what we are used to with Maguire and mcfred
Probably our only truly world class player showing us what we need to continue to buy or mould. Varane just hanging onto that status,de gea is back,and then we have potentially world class players that need to either step up or maintain for a longer period

I was one of the uneducated fools who thought he was just a great destroyer. I knew he had a great reading of the game but didn't realise he also had great passing and vision. Really hope we can get at least 3 or 4 seasons of him. Considering he's already not the fastest or leggy player it's not like he'll lose that yard of pace or anything so it defo can happen. Madrid miss him. Tchouameni is good and looks like he will be one of the greats. But he isn't at Casemiro's level yet. I was ecstatic when we signed him. An experienced midfielder was needed. It is too much pressure to try and learn on the job when the rest of the team isn't quite there yet.

He was always this good. Yes I feel happy that he is now playing for united. But i think at real Madrid, he was this good. He is a monster. When casemiro was in doubt for champions league final last season, i was worried. He was essential to that real Madrid team as much as Modric and Kroos. I just hope he keeps on going. I just laugh more at Souness saying "casemiro was never world class, he just played with world class player ". Most senseless comment i have ever heard.
