Kinda funny that the American vice-president and Infantino picked this match to attend with an pretty empty stadium.

I’ve said it before and I say it again and again: no real fan cares about all this. It’s just a cool opportunity for our American friends to see the club live, like much easier. But the cup itself is pointless.
Only benefit is money and, frankly, as a fan,I don’t care. I want the feeling, the home games, the emotions. I want the wall to make me cry every god damn time I get to see them with their energy and choreography, their determination. Just breathtaking and that is what glues me to this club. And I live less than a kilometer from our stadium. There’s much more to it than sheer geography.

Heat index over 100. 3pm game on a Wednesday. I was there and it was very hot but fun.

Nah, nearly the same as Yellow wall.
2.5 hrs before a game, when the gates are opened since 2 minutes.

The Ulsan section opposite end had a dense group of maybe 40 supporters. At their loudest they equaled BVB’s.

It’s over 90 degrees in Cincinnati today with dangerous heat advisories, and this game is in the middle of the afternoon on a work day.
Americans can’t get out of work as easy as Europeans, and this game is in a city with a population much lower than east coast cities. Not surprising at all

8k out of 20? It looked way less than half full

Good. F the cwc

The yellow wall itself has more fans (25k) than the whole stadium has seats available
Also, Dortmund womens team in the fourth league had a higher attendence than that with 10k a couple a month ago against Schalke

Cincinnati was fantastic all week. Great host city, great people at all the BVB events, regardless of match attendance.

It’s mid week and the game starts when every other person is working… For sure it isn’t sold out. Most of the late games have more attendance! Anyway doesn’t deserve that low attendance

Oh no this stupid money grab is not drawing sold out stadiums. Sad.

I should’ve went to one of the dortmund games in Cincy honestly.

Is this a dumb money grab by FIFA? Yes. Did I, a Dortmund fan living in Ohio, cherish my time getting to see the team in person? Also yes. Completely understand and generally support the hate, but glad I got the experience

The NWSL team where I live sells out their stadium every game with 11,500. But then, I can get tickets for $35-40 where those seats were triple that’s at least.

It’s offseason Dortmund vs Ulsan. I expected less.
