Grealish doesn't get enough criticism because City win without him. If City were a midtable side then the criticism would be 100x worst.
Grealish isn't great. Does anyone notice when Grealish isn't playing? Does City level come down when Grealish isn't playing? Nope.
His signing seemed something of knee jerk thing because City didn't get Kane and they wanted a statement purchase.

I've never been a fan of Jack & the price tag isnt his fault. He doesn't do himself any favours dropping to the ground every time he's touched. He should be trying to beat players going forward……if he even has the ability
No player is worth a 9-figure transfer fee. You only have to look at the list of players who were bought for that crazy money to see that none of them justified the expense for the buying club.

100 million to draw fouls is crazy
I really like him and 3-4 years ago could see him becoming world class which I reckon caused Pep to sign him. He needs to move somewhere else, perhaps to a club like Leeds Utd who would allow him to play his natural game.
Grealish is not a Β£100m player, he just had a Β£100m release clause, there is a big difference to a player valued at a price & a player brought for a price through a release clause, release clauses will often mean a player is sold for more than their true value but for a club with big finances paying over the odds for a player isn't that big of an issue. People should forget what was paid for his release clause & look at what his value would of been on the open market, because it would not of been anywhere near Β£100m.
If declan rice and grealish stayed irish, that price tag is halved then reduces some more. Declan would prob be 30 million max, grealish is 35-40, luis diaz was performing week in week out and champions league at porto and he was 40 million. Bellingham is another one honestly i dont see the hype, i see him as a player who can dribble a bit, box to box, average passing range but the hype is as if yaya toure is coming through. Feel sorry for the club who will get rice, bellingham, there is no value for money

People are always making excuses for Graelish, or to be exact: white players. Bent has to stop behaving like a house boy and man up to speak the truth and not just parrot the behaviour of racists and start criticising both black and white players if they do not deliver. Kane misses a penalty and everybody makes excuses, but if a black player missed the same penalty they get slaughtered and racist abuse. Graelish needs to achieve more than 8 goals in a season. At present and so far in his Man City career if the team wins and Graelish is credited, he is just riding of the backs of other players when he deserves no credit baring in mind his pitiful contribution. Call it for what it is. It's not good enough. When he improves, I will be first to compliment him, but at present he is lucky to be wearing the Man City shirt and definitely not worth 100 million. I think people are being unfair on Grealish, let's face it, he's no Miguel Almiron, so we can't expect him to be decent.

I love how the English media can rationalize for Jack Grealish who's best attribute has always been how hes the most fouled player in the league. Grealish is a mid table team player. The criticism Pogba received was bordering on abuse, yet Grealish who has a worse lifestyle and isnt even as good as Maddison gets a pass.
