      Casemiro reminds me of Carrick with regards to his level of passing range, but also has the aggressive nature of Roy Keane too, such a shame we haven’t got him for longer. 😔

      Souness was defending ronaldo and criticizing casemiro :))) hes old school as a manager he played the big names in front of the young players…..thats why he won nothing…he was a great player but as a manager very weak….his name gave him the managing jobs not performance

      I like Declan Rice, he's got a lot of potential but to say that he's better than Casemiro, a five time Champions League winner is laughably stupid. I wonder what these pundits are on.

      Comparing rice to Casemiro is a disgrace, how people like this are employed to talk about football is baffling. Then justifying it with the whole value thing surely he must know he’s waffling at that point. Value of rice is ridiculously inflated due to his nationality and media hype anyway.

      When casemiro was in madrid he let modric and kroos pass the ball, his main job is as destroyer. But when he came to United, ten hag implement his idea and let casemiro play more with the ball. Now we could see that casemiro isnt only destroyer but he also has the vision pass the ball and dictate the tempo.

      all this does is remind people of the Likes of Keane, Robson, Viera, Gerrard, Souness, Ince, Makalele etc, players who'd be frist choice ahead of Casemiro everytime. As for Rice , lol, he's on a par with joey Barton, decent pro, nothing more

      I remember saying Casemiro was a tremendous signing and being laughed at. I tried saying he was months older than Kane and Salah, younger than Gundogan and VVD and being met by doesn’t matter. Tried saying he rinsed Liverpool in the UCL final. Boils down to English fans and pundits being solipsistic, if you play in the prem you’re world class, if you don’t you’re subject to scrutiny. I do believe our league to be the best, certainly in terms of being competitive. But it’s worth noting the reigning champs of Europe are Spanish, and none of the marquee players in the World Cup final and 3rd place match were premier league stars. All Spain, France, or Italy. The notion the prem is monolithic and other leagues need to catch up simply isn’t true, never has been.
