      Rory is proving his stupidity. Italy were one of the form teams of the Euros, so to claim they were "not a decent" Italian side is absurd. England's done very little in Europe and World Cup's for years with all kind of quality managers and star players, but somehow this team under Southgate are doing really well and a lot of these very good players he has in the squad were brought on and given their chance by Southgate. But he is apparently crap, and cost England silverware… 🤣

      Whoever the host is on this is an absolute fool. There's a lot better players than Curtis Jones in the 21s, Pickford definitely isn't poor for Everton nor is Ramsdale anywhere near as good as him.

      England fans need to start opening their eyes and realize Southgate is not the person to take them to the next level. Being a nice guy means nothing, there are a lot of nice guys in football, but how many of them are actually successful? Southgate does not have the balls to drop certain players, he's too scared to lose, that mentality is not gonna win anything. As I've said before, Southgate is the international version of Ole, a nice guy but lacks the tactical prowess to take their club/country to the next level.

      I don't always agree with Rory but he properly nailed this, anyone with any football sense knows Southgate is a useless manager, and the talent of the players is why they got as close to success as they did, it has nothing to do with Southgate as a manager, in fact it was in spite of him being manager.

      Wonder how Rory feels now? Three games in the nations league, ZERO goals in open play despite playing Italy's reserves. All of a sudden, the spark & promise of this new England has gone and we're playing the slow, uncreative dross of the pre Southgate era again.

      safegate had 2 golden opportunities, WCup semi, Euro final… easy brackets / run to those matched and blew both of them. A club manager would have been fire for that. Ok, players are tired, i get it but losing to Hungary for the 1st time in 60 years, give me a break! finally people are seeing the light, except safegate of course. he need to go now before wasting another tournament. How the f*** can you start or even pick maguire? his form was terrible for a whole season! where is the meritocracy.

      i dont understand what every body wants, they were total crap till he took over,look where theyve got so far, more to come the only problem is hes been persuaded by the looney left and keeps picking sterling who is also total crap always has been

      Do you know what it’s not often I say this but Rory is spot on, Southgate just gets it all wrong, we have so much talent in midfield and attack but we don’t use it, we do we insist on playing so defensivly we can’t win anything like that

      You guys are nuts. This England team ain't nowhere near the 00s England team. The only current player that makes that team is Harry Kane and it still wasn't good enough to compete with the big boys.
      Seriously, Southgate is doing about what I would expect with a team that has just as many limitations as it does talents.
      And yeah, what part of that Italy side wasn't better than England? England have a better front 3 but Italy had a better back 4 and their midfield was in a completely different league.
