Switzerland trained in Doha on Sunday, a day before their second Group G outing at Qatar 2022 against Brazil.
The Swiss opened their account with a 1-0 win over Cameroon on Thursday, with Monaco striker Breel Embolo, who was born in Cameroon, bagging the winner.
Confidence is high amongst Murat Yakin’s squad, justifiably so following UEFA Nations League victories over Czech Republic, Spain and Portugal in the build-up to the World Cup.
Yakin has recently described his squad as “the best Switzerland national team that has ever existed” – that claim will be put to the test against No.1-ranked Brazil, who overcame a tough Serbian side 2-0 in their first game.
