If there’s anyone who would have wanted Grealish to succeed, it’s Pep — he forked out £100 million for him, for crying out loud. The man has been woeful, yet the British media would rather blame the manager. Why call him not getting picked ‘personal’? Why not consider poor training or lack of application? Instead of holding their latest overrated flop accountable, they’d rather protect him and shift the blame onto Pep.
