  1. United usually want to sign ball playing CB but those players usually have weakened positional awareness leaving the defense in jeopardy

  2. regardless of what position he plays, he is undoubtedly talented
definitely a gem in the making, could play at any position at the back and perhaps CDM too the way he progress the ball.

  3. He can be a good signing!!
Dude can play as CB, fullback and CDM.
We should really avoid going for Big name players we should go for Quality players!!!!
I feel like Varane is still yet to perform!!!
    Sancho is getting there!!!!

  4. Am I the only one that watches timber and sees everything Man Utd had in Timothy Fosu mensah but completely wasted?? Hopefully Ten Hag can utilise Timber better than Utd did Timbo

  5. Top video!, the comparison to Kimmich is one I haven't thought of and is and fits him well. Thought his size is slightly concerning, against teams like Liverpool and City who use smaller forwards he could be a great asset.

  6. From an ajax fan: United fans i beg you to understand. Timber is NOT A FULL BACK!!!. dont play him on a different position like barca did with frenkie. Then you will not see the results you desire. Ajax develops these players and puts them at their position for a reason. Yes we know hes good as a full back aswell but thats only because ajax players that came through the academy are all taught to play on other positions (usually midfield, so they learn to be comfortable on the ball) ETH put him as CD for a reason, we have bigger defenders he couldve put there like Per Schuurs, but he didnt and gave Timber the trust. Trust ETH and he will make timber shine in the prem

  7. As an Ajax supporter, i can say CB is definetely his best position, he has filled in at RB a couple times but he doesnt seem as comfortable as Mazraoui going forward. But the wide CB position does fit him quite well, he played there for the national team and his performances in the national team made people question whether or not he should be starting over De Ligt. Great vid!

  8. The transfer budget is too in my view ..you need buy Declan , Harry and Ben apart from offloading at least a dozen first-teamers. Around £350m is needed, and around £100m for refurbishing Carrington and the roof of Old Trafford. Lastly, £100m needs to go to your owners as dividends and another £120m or so for debt repayments.

  9. manutd board wont buy him, they are too cheap in their ways. as long as the amaerican owners have control of manutd, they arent going to buy good players. they will be told to pay X amount for a good player just to have another club come along and take that same player up for 2 million more, and then that player turns into a star player and we manutd fans are left wondering ( what could have been )

This is how the manutd board thinks….

  10. I don't understand all this talk about Timber. Knowing Ten Hag I'd guess that he'll probably be looking for a left footed CB first.

  11. Pau Torres
    Josko Gvardiol
    Eric Garcia
    Jules Kounde
    William Saliba
    Alessandro Bastoni
    JURRIEN TIMBER
This generation of ball playing centre backs is going to be absolutely crazy!

  12. This man is not a hype on of the best CB’s in the world. He got the qualities are necessary for the modern football. You need pace, smart game reading and good ball playing. (Ajaxfan)

  13. 30 35 million is a joke this man is a dutch international. Personally I think Ajax going to start talking at least 60 – 70 million.

  14. I can see united going back 3 next season. Tightening up defense first and utilising what he can up top because we might not be able to fill those positions.

  15. Certainly better on the ball than Maguire, perhaps weak in the air but seems to read the game well, so IQ might make up for the height.

  16. I think a left sided CB is more urgent. The only player that is comfortable playing there is Maguire. Varane has played there this season but its very obvious he prefers to be on the right and his better performances have come from the right. Timber if he does come should be a right back. 61% aerial duel is just not good enough for a premier league centre back especially since he will be against physically strong STs e.g. Antonio and Raul Jimenez. A ball carrying right back could have potential like wes brown in 2008

  17. Great versatile IQ player, he can play CDM and RB but as CB he could struggle in EPL, that Nottingham Forest RB is a talent

  18. He isn't good enough simple as that typical united fanbase overhyping him, much rather ndicka for 25 million he's taller faster and much stronger
