  1. surprised absolutly positivly. hes a great communicator and I hope he stays with us for a long time.

  2. 6/10 overall

    Buli 8/10

    CL 4/10

DFB Cup is hard to evaluate because of the red card, which isn’t on Kompany

    8,5/10.

Yes, we didn’t win CL and we didn’t win the cup either, but you can sense that there is a harmony within the squad and we play good football.

It feels awhile since there was a harmonious atmosphere in the team.

6/10. Lets be clear we are way above and beyond on talent in the bundi. We lost to teams in the UCL we should ve not. This guy did not integrate any youth talent and worn out a few players down. Tactics were stale. The team did not improve its dynamic as a whole

  5. For this season alone I’d say 6-7/10 overall with a few missteps but the bad wasn’t entirely his fault. I’m very optimistic about the future and I really hope the board can show a little patience with him. We didn’t see Bayern at their best this year bc just as things were starting to come together we lost three of our 5-6 most important players. It’s also worth a lot that he works really well with the team and the players seem to like him

urbig was doing well, no reason to bench him for a neuer way past his prime. but he has no balls, people with a big lobby and a huge contract will always playu regardless of performance. just sad.

  7. 8.5/10 for a first season, otherwise 7, but still a really hopeful season for the future. Kompany is building something interesting, I just hope the board gives him the means to bring new players to the squad and evacuate disappointing players. When I see that we will probably miss Wirtz, Williams, Rodrygo, Gittens, or Gakpo, after failing to bring Doue or Kvara, I am a bit disappointed that the board is not seeing that left wing is our main weakness in the attack.

    **8.5/10**

    **Pros**:

Stabilized the team after a dramatic period without much at his disposal.

Is a “player’s coach” and is widely respected by the team.

Showed signs of tactical innovation / understanding – team ran wonderfully domestically even with all the injuries.

    **Cons**:

Worries about his ceiling tactically. Can he adapt year after year? Can he outmaneuver the Peps, Klopps, & Slots? He’s still fresh and young, so I don’t want to be pessimistic here, just hope to continue seeing him growing.

Worries that without this sort of star coaching appeal we won’t be able to sign the bigger names. What did Slot sell Wirtz in his vision of the future that we couldn’t?

  9. 7/10 and thats taking into account, that it was his first year and that he is still very young.

    The positives:

    – the mood in the team is good
    – how he presented himself in interviews and pr stuff all around
    – we play positive football

    The negatives:

    – bad rotation, not using youth, overplaying injured player
    – our midfield is non existent in defense with his set up and while he did adjustments they were clearly not enough
    – he gave gnabry, coman, sane, rapha and leon a lot of chances and then players like tel, aznou or palhinha almost none
    – still no clue what the game plan is and it feels like olise bailed out most of the time, kinda like lewa did in the past for kovac
    – 1 dimensional tactic, even when the available players do not fit, look after davies injury, playstyle and tactics didnt change while we went from davies to rapha, same at cb when dier played

Cl was not good, group stage was bad, really bad for our standards, vs leverkusen was very good and vs inter was okay if you consider injuries

Pokal was shit but thats on neuer for the most part

Bundesliga was good, but the stats are a little missleading, since all the other good teams underperformed very badly.

Overall it was okay or good depending on how much you value certain things.

He has still a long way to go and any remotely fair evaluation should be done after the upcoming season, not now after a first one with the club (still) in turmoil and a long string of injured players in the deciding weeks of the season.

That being said, the club should avoid any unnecessary changes to the clubs structure after the whole Nagelsmann/Tuchel/Kahn/Brazzo fiasco.

Hope he becomes a legend, and overall I rate this season a 8.5/10 Cup Knocked off .5 Points and the CL knocked off a point

7/10. The “vibe” around the club sans the CL ko has been very good. My only real qualm is the lack of youth development.

He brought the minimal expectations. It’s clear he isn’t well prepared in tactics.
