Genuinely, i believe that if he doesnt get injured the last time (IE just when we had finally decided he and Jens were the best combo and just as they were starting to purr) then we have a good chance of hanging on. They played so well together for what, 2 and a half games and then he got injured. As Stu says, if they had both been fit for 25+ games, who knows what could have been.
I still think the signing was worth the gamble. Had it paid off, we could have had him longer but it's just a shame it played out how it did.
I cant see any PL team signing him, on the basis of his stint at Wet Sham and us, he is a huge gamble and financially it will not work especially with FFP.
Left Leeds for money and it ruined his interest,45k to 150k wages, would I want him back? Nope, never rated his positioning on field and it’s getting worst, lazy play and no quality hard tackles, mirror image of his time under Bielsa, If I was Kelvin, I would take a massive hit on wages, back to a measly 45k and join a club to get playing again, if he don’t then it just shows it’s all about money

Anyone signing him would be taking a huge financial risk didn't do it at West Ham or Ipswich living on his reputation.
