Everton are reportedly close to completing a deal to sign Ajax attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus.

Reports first emerged on Friday afternoon of the Blues showing an interest in the Ghana international. The 22-year-old moved to the Eredivisie giants from Norwegian club Nordsjaelland in 2020, and has gone on to make 45 appearances for them, scoring six goals.

And now, according to The Times, Everton are set to sign Kudus on loan. The tweet from Paul Joyce, the newspaper’s Northern Football Correspondent, also states the Blues will have the option of making the transfer permanent at the end of the season.

Kudus plays in midfield and can also operate in the No.10 position. If he joins, he will become Everton’s sixth summer signing after the permanent additions of James Tarkowski, Dwight McNeil and Amadou Onana, and the loan captures of Ruben Vinagre and Conor Coady.

How highly do you rate Mohammed Kudus?

  1. Whenever Everton look close to signing a player I check them out on YouTube, ultrasfctv got my back every time. Thank you bro🤝

  2. The proof is in the pudding! So many players recently over the past just don’t fit at Everton hopefully this time we are on a winner🤞🤞🤞 I hope that he hits the ground running, boy do we need him to. Good luck lad.

  3. Not a word about this anywhere else, in particular from Everton. Looks too good to be true. I’ll believe it when I see him in the Blue kit with Contract Dave.
