Damn that’s crazy, I had a nightmare that Wirtz chose Liverpool over us
Im still having the opinion we’ve dodged a bullet with wirtz. He’s a generational talent, no doubt, but 250.000.000€ and a previous ACL injury are a dealbreaker for me. Maybe we can get him after his next club, for less money (or even free?).
I’d rather have more overall depth in every position
What are the chances that since Wirtz goes to Liverpool, Bayern want to show strength and sign a “star player” to signal the competition that they can still attract star players? This clearly hit Uli’s and Kalle’s ego i would imagine.

there was a lot of talk about us losing our pull last night. we extended davies (who was wanted by real) and musiala (who would‘ve been just as sought after as wirtz). they actively chose us over other top clubs (in davies case real!!). we gave the long memed english all time top scorer and PL top 6 club legend his first trophy and just landed the transfer of the season in olise (who was better than wirtz this season).
liverpool was playing EL last season and was rejected by multiple top players before this. one player choosing them over us doesn‘t change that
Other than LW, is there any spot on the team that needs strengthening, assuming that Tah joins ?
We are set at LB with Davies and Rapha/Ito.
We have Upa/Kim/Tah/Stanisic for CB. And Ito as well.
Laimer/Boey/Stani for RB
Pavlo/Kimmich/Goretzka/Palhinha for 2 midfield spots.
And Musiala/Olise/Kane upfront. With Coman/Gnabry/Sane as LW or RW.
Other than a starting quality LW, I don’t see what further improvements can realistically be made. We got knocked out of the Pokal due to Neuer’s red card and lost out in the CL very narrowly due to dodgy defending from Kim, which Tah would solve.
