Short answer- No.
I can not wait this will be gold
He is really good today.. Great runs and dribbles..
He’s been treated unfairly. No manager backed him since his performances since last year vs Real Madrid. He was Chelsea’s best player. Lockdown he was their best player. If he was english he’d in the XI any day of the week.
How many hugs does Tim get today? 😂
I wish he would go to Newcastle where he could play Everyday or almost every day
Well he started and didn’t score so…
He was absolutely horrible today
I am tired of these American excuses. He has not been backed by any manager because he has not been able to consistently produce high level performance to justify him being a starter in a big 6 team. Just compare him to the players in his position in the other big 6 teams like Salah, Son, Foden, Saka and Rashford and you quickly see Pulisic in his time at Chelsea has not been performing at their level for more than 3 or 4 games. Americans need to be honest and say just because he is the most hyped American, it doesn’t mean he is good enough to be a starter in an Premier League team. People are saying he should go to Newcastle but with Almiron playing his his position and he isn’t playing well enough to replace him. I think a mid table team like Crystal Palace or Aston Villa is more his level, where he will not be expected be consistent every game. And before you claim it is an English vs American thing. English player Hudson-Odoi was loan out despite being a more consistent performer than Pulisic because Pulisic is deemed more commercially valuable due to the American market.
He's already a starter. He needs to maintain this good form
If any Chelsea player deserves more game time it's Ziyech. Pulisic's nowhere near good enough, it's only clueless deluded USians who know nothing about football that think he is.
Pulisic is over hyped no doubt, and he is over hyped because there is a desire to get more Americans into the game. In my opinion Pulisic is not a star player. But at the same time, it is true that Pulisic does not get the benefit of the doubt like a Sterling or Mount. Pulisic can play extremely well in a game he starts and then he doesn't start the next game. He could have 3-4 good games and then the moment he has 1 below average game, he's on the bench the next few games. Mount can go multiple games performing poorly and still start. Not only does this hurt Pulisic's rhythm and ability to start more games, but it also hurts how you play. If I'm a player and I know the manager has confidence in me, that the manager will start me even if I have a poor game, I play more freely, with more confidence, and as a result play better. If I'm a player who knows that if I make any mistakes, I will be back on the bench, or even if I play a good game I might not start next game, it affects how I play.
Again, I don't want this to be misconstrued into me saying that Pulisic is world class. Pulisic is good but hasn't shown to me he is anywhere near world class, but also if he was given the same treatment as Mason Mount, and started more and was shown the manager had confidence in him, he'd be playing much better
