He did a fantastic job and he deserves recognition but knighted?…nope not on my watch…Alf Ramsey Clive Woodward they got the gold they actually achieved Everest….Southgate didn't and half of it is because he's like most Englishman…a pessimist…or he couldn't adjust mid game…I don't begrudge him his award like I do the mayor from London but I still don't think he's quite earned it
