Darwin Nunez 1v1 chances in 2022 for Benfica, Liverpool, and Uruguay. Nunez hasn’t had great success in front of goal so far for Liverpool and his big issue is his composure in 1v1 situations and has struggled especially since joining the Premier League.

The clips are only from 2022 to keep them relevant. These are 1v1 chances mostly when just only the keeper is in his way and with minimal defensive disruption.

This video concept is inspired by verif football, who is doing a terrific job with this video style, while the concept has been around for a while and in other sports. Veriff has done an outstanding job in executing these videos.

  1. Lfc fan at first wasn’t sure but the quality of his runs and timing and finding that space where there is no one even close to is probably the best I’ve seen since Henry. The guy when he comes into his own in next year or two is going to be one of the best in the world I’ve seen him in person at the game and his running into space is my fave thing about him. So all rival fans laugh at him you’ll eat your words im arrogant about it.

  2. He doesn't know how to aim ➕️ ⚽️ ➡️ 🎯
Just seems like he throwing everything at the wall to see what stick. 0 tech. 0 precision.

  3. From what I’ve seen he has all the tools to become the best striker in the world after Haaland. He has all the pace and power and gets into the perfect positions. Finishing needs work though, but Salah was also a poor finisher when he first joined

  4. Just for some context. It was the media not liverpool fans comparing Nunez to Haaland. Before the summer the debate was between Mbappe and Haaland because he is that good. If not for a release clause he would have probably cost a similar price to what neymar did. Nunez has been brought in because he is one of the fastest players in the world, he is a workhorse, he fights for the badge which are traits liveprool like under klopp for forwards. Hopefully he can improve his finishing over the next 5 years heading into his prime. As a liverpool fan i have no worries about him. He still has the same goals as other great strikers this season he just needs time.
