Against decent competition too. A run for the ages if they qualify for UCL. And it helps the mindset of the club for going into next year.

I completely gave up champions league at that point. How wrong I was!

As impressive as this is I wonder how sustainable it is. We saw terzic take us on our longest winstreak ever to secure UCL and win us the Pokal, but then when he eventaully came back we could barely string any wins together. Either way happy with how Kovac has done

yep, that’s what i thought about a lot … amazing comeback, it feels like a miracle, we only need to win against Kiel (at least 2-3 goals) to be safe in UCL next year NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS!

If we manage to secure UCL on MD 34, it’s gonna be a comeback for the ages! What a turnaround by Niko and the team!

I was skeptical about this season and the future as it seemed like the front office was basically eager to announce to the football world that Dortmund is an undesirable place to play. But this team has shown real grit. The worst thing about recent Dortmund teams was their lack of any semblance of a smooth offense but Kovac has molded this team into a force that appears at first to be stereotypically Dortmund, but with many toddlers – just starting to show their personalities. The foundation for next season appears to be solid.
