  1. Sorry lad, but it's gonna be 'baldy' from now on! Might as well get it tattood on xd

Who's uo for us going unbeaten rest of season?

Ollie is happy where he is – he was annoyed, which is what we'd want (so was i, we desperately needed Watkins vs PSG) but he's annoyed at being benched after being largely responsble for us getting to and through the Champs League. That's ok. It isn't something to worry about – it's something to celebrate.
Rashford might not be staying, and he got dropped for a lad who is here on loan in the biggest (Club) game of his career, and at his age, potentially his life if he gets even one or two injuries.

Watkins is so important to us.
He has struggled since Unai changed the system to accomodate Asensio, as has Rogers. But he'll adapt again, and we'll play more like we did today. It's a fine testament to our lads that we have changed focus of our play several times this season, and all of them have adapted. It's just unfortunate that when you're the keeper or the striker, there's a lot more focus on you – so any drop in performance is noticed more.

Honestly, I wouldn't worry about him saying a bit too much after a game like that. I'd be a bit more concerned if he didn't. It's right after the game, he's completely (in his mind) vindicated himself, and Unai has probably sent him out knowing exactly what's on Ollie's mind.

Heh. This is turning in to another long comment! Sorry!

  2. man i missed the live, so happy with the result, we should be feared, i f’ing hate Newcastle, ollie was unplayable today, we have to keep him, we need to keep our spine, work our magic selling fringe players in the summer and just add to this squad, it’s so good. UTV great win great show lads

  3. Great show, sums up another epic night!

So privileged to witness what Emery is building 😍

Lot to like about rashford but for me we are kidding ourselves if we think he is the long term answer as a striker.

Doesn’t even try and challenge with his back to play, lets defenders win the ball unchallenged. Away from home over the course of a season we would struggle with that IMO

Tielemans is hands down player of the season, Bouba would have given him a run had he played earlier ⭐️

Excited to see maatsen showing his potential for next season in the last month!
