Lucas Paqueta reportedly wishes to leave West Ham United once his hearing regarding the gambling allegations comes to a conclusion, with the Brazilian confident he will be found not guilty. 1. I don't agree with the opinion about Scarles. he has not been worse than the others. Inexperienced yes. I understand exactly why Potter is playing him. In this way he learns and grows. Then it could be that he can't handle the pressure, but then you know that. After all, Rice made his mistakes in the beginning and people were unhappy. Even Sahla started at some point and made his mistakes. Regarding players and their performances. Formation here or there, of course it matters, but then start playing. It's not Potter playing out there. For example Kudus. My opinion about Paguetta is that he can be sold, but for God's sake don't sell him too cheap. West ham stood behind him when it was hard for him. (and still is right?) There should be some decency. I guess.

  2. you say give him the summer.. but how confident are you, you will see massive positive changes with news players in? i personally feel 80% sure we will be seeing the same shit!!! so give him a chance just incase? weve had 2 seasons WASTED. how much have we spent aswell?? i cant be fucked to have anotehr season written off, my passion is dieing.

  3. For a long time we have needed fast goalscoring midfielders like Palace, Newcastle etc. If we don't get them we will struggle again. First six games will tell us how the season will play out.

  4. I’m not sure Paqueta is consistently good enough for City but if they pay enough money I don’t really care.
This season he has 5 goals and no assists in 31 games 😕

  5. Great review Geo & Frankie, thanks. I've thought and thought about why Potter doesn't start Füllkrug, one of our best players and in form. The only thing I can come up with is that Potter assumed that we would lose the game whether Füllkrug started or not and therefore 'saved' him for our remaining games. I don't agree with that negative mindset but it's the only thing I can come up to explain Potter's decision. This is of course assuming Füllkrug is fit – and if he'sS not match fit and can play 90 he shouldn't be on the bench IMHO. ⚒

  6. Ferguson is obviously not the player Potter remembers. He remembers the kid that was valued at 80mil but it looks like for whatever reason that kid isn’t there any more. If he’s shit there’s no point playing him. How many times have we slated Moyes and Loppy for bringing on Ings? We know it’s pointless. If Ferguson is currently at Ings level then it’s not worth playing him.
Fulkrug seems to be managed regarding minutes, if that’s the case then whether you start him or bring him on is just down to personal preference, there are arguments either way.

  7. My fav with kudus geo only two players i love watching playing the west ham way entertaining football . Nice to see frankie back with your show too. Bowen love too different reasons.

  8. Based on what we know now plus Paqueta and Kudus both very likely to be gone I have strong doubts that we can avoid relegation. Add to that I have doubts that we can hold onto the young talent we have coming through.
Beyond that I don’t see how we are now at the London Stadium able to get promoted again particularly quickly.
We haven’t seen what the summer window will bring but with Sullivan and Brady doing the negotiations I don’t see any reason to be optimistic.

  9. Would love kudus paqetta stay but pep will get him and suit his team revamp. Those magical feet of paqetta and kudus strengths against 3 or 4 liverpool players wow nice feet too. My type always . Soucek jwp rod and soler all must go we can do way better.

  10. I reckon Man City have moved on from Paqueta and will probably go for someone like Wirtz, Musiala etc. Think Paqueta will stick around for another season at least.

  11. Like you, very frustrated by the lack of doing the bleeding obvious from Potter. My liking of the man is currently being overridden by a lack of common sense, in not playing a natural Striker in Fulkrug. He’s an international for heaven’s sake, and as for not playing Ferguson practically at all, when Potter wanted him, is just a ludicrous waste of a loan deal.

  12. I think Lucas would have to play at the level. He played versus Liverpool for the rest of the season to even be considered to move to Manchester city. He has a strong too good performances together in 2 1/2 seasons.

  13. Paqueta played his best football with West Ham under Moyes when he had a free role on the left wing . He’s a liability and isn’t discipled enough to play CM in the premier league . His play acting has cost us on a number of occasions this season (Liverpool at weekend & Villa in FA cup off the top of my head).
I was a huge fan of Paqueta and will always remember him fondly especially after his ball for Bowen in Conference league , but I would happily see him moved on now.

  14. I’m where Frankie’s at re: Potter. Never been a Potter fan. Still think we need to wait to see what he does with his team. Still preferred him over J Lo. Hugely frustrated with his team selection and over handling with not completely fit players. I think he made his first potential catastrophic mistake and his press conference recently and saying you can count on us having a very exciting summer. He just set the expectations for the fan base and heat plane and simply is not going to get what he wants from Sullivan. At least not all of it. So he set himself up for a 99% failure with the supporters with that simple little statement.

  15. Let paqueta go, and its clear kudus wants to leave aswell
Thats easily 100mil in the kitty!
Neither have done enough this season and its when we needed them most.
Delap, kelleher and angel gomes are musts!

  16. Potter wasn't my choice neither was loppy but whereas I was optimistic with loopy I've just got a bad feeling about Potter, similar to how Glenn Roeder made me feel, nice bloke good coaching reputation but he's a number 2, feel same about Potter he'd make an absolute top class assistant manager but I just don't see him as a number 1, it's not gonna end well. I predict next season he will be gone by Christmas and we will be back to where we was when we won the conference cup but we was on a high then and should have made the change but we have wasted all that time with moyes wasted season then loppy then Potter… who's next?

  17. Those 2 big pillows could fall down and crush the man behind Frankie.
😀'Welcome to another Hammers Chat, today, live from Broadmoor Prison, Pillow killer Frankie'
    😐'Do you have Pillows Geo?'
    😬'NO…no..I lay on Gonzo's lap'

  18. I’d play Areola AWB Todibo Kilman Emerson Paqueta Alvarez Bowen Kudus Guilherme Fullkrug in a 4-2-3-1 with Paqueta in midfield with Alvarez and Guilherme on the left against the Saints

  19. I do wonder if the crap first halves are by design. Rightly or wrongly, if Potter feels that the team aren't well enough drilled and practiced in the 2nd half approach, the logic could be that if they play that style in the first half and it goes wrong early on they're chasing the game and we could see the kind of utter capitulations we saw under JL. Dull football to keep the score sheet tight means that any damage caused by trying the more assertive approach is limited to 45 minutes while the team adjusts. Not sure I agree with it, but could feature in his thinking.

  20. I’m not sure enjoy his theatrics all the going down gets on my nerves that wasn’t a foul he went down asking for the foul and then Liverpool scored, we need goal scorers I know it’s obvious but in the Liverpool game there were 3 goals scored and we didn’t score one of them! Stop the theatrics and just go for goal!

  21. Think Potter is finding the formula for these players. Lots have to go, but the game agains Liverpool was the best we've looked for the season. Paqueta is great player, but I don't think City will be looking to replace Debruyner with him – theres a gulf in class and ability there. Agree with Franky on that one. Think we will see a good match agains Southampton, looking forward to Potters teams in the future.

  22. I like Geo and I like Frankie; but I'm taking my automatic "like" off this video. We've just been unlucky, by common consent, to lose by the odd goal away to the runaway leaders in the Premier League. I was pleased with the second half performance and proud of our players. OK it wasn't perfect and the result was disappointing, but overall it was much better than I had expected, and I'm grateful for that.

  23. If Paqueta wants out to Citeh, does that mean someone already knows they're both going to be cleared of all charges?
So favours do fortune the brave. 🤔

  24. Paqueta would be great at City. Id love to see him play for a front foot offensive team. I rate him so highly. Id love him to stay but as a pure footie fan he needs a better platform to perform. At Anfield he was so good thats his level a brazilian starter..

  25. We have an excellent squad, the best I’ve seen in decades. I get the sense we just haven’t found the right formation and starting XI yet but it has the potential to click into place – under the right manager. Put another way I think Unai would have had this same squad absolutely flying.

  26. As a club we are in a downward spiral and we will be in a relegation scrap next season, we just aren't progressing like Brighton, Bournemouth, Fulham or even Wolves, who have turned a bit of a corner. We just are not an attractive option for players to come to. I think we will lose Paqueta and Kudus and you have to wonder whether Bowen has higher ambitions unlike our clubs owners.

  27. Get rid. Definition of inconsistent. Falls over. Hides in every game for two years, turns up for the odd 20 minutes then invisible. Need more energy more pace more hunger. Sell for money and use money to buy another player.
