Tom, I like the idea of Timber as a 6, great suggestion, he would offer so much additional protection to White and MLS too in those wide areas which PSV are so strong.
As you discuss Calafiori, perhaps he should return and immediately begin new phase of his life at Arsenal as a left sided CB. He has proved almost beyond doubt he is not good at LB compared to MLS. He can't keep up with back and forth running needed, plus takes longer to close in on wingers, disadvantaging him.

Trossard is not very good at 9, I would put Califiori into midfield.

Letting Partey leave will be a big mistake, that was how we let Xhaka go and we lost the league in the process of blending Kai in, we see
For me, play Timber at left back, Rice 6 and MLS at left 8. That way you can move around all three of them, in-game, should you need to (Rice to 8, Timber to 6, LMS to left back).
this is the last year of getting something for partey however keeping him another season isnt a bad idea, keeps a slot and not needing to replace a squad in this summer.

I don’t want to see the full backs moved at all for psg game for me the only thing we can do is put trossard at false 9 and pray he delivers.i think we will need MLS to deal with dembele and Timber to deal with the Georgian magician i dont fancy Ben white who isn’t 100 per cent to shut Kavarskelia down. It’s not what I want I want Merino in the false 9 because he’s been unbelievable and trossard at false 9 has offered very little we will need trossard to have the game of his life and to be honest we are due a big performance from him inmo it’s overdue

What about merino in midfield and calafiori up top against psg then switching if it doesn't work to ither options like zinchenko or timber in midfield

I don't want Partey to leave he's had his best season since coming to Arsenal. He's been quality top draw .

Changing one of the two best 1v1 defenders in the world against a team that attacks with Dembele and Kavara on the wings seems less than ideal to me. It's much better to have Trossar/Merino as a left 8 and have them exchange positions depending on the context than putting Ben White after an injury to defend PSG.
I think we're in a no-win scenario with Partey. If we keep him for another year, his left hamstring disintegrates game week 3 never to be seen again. If we let him go, he plays every match for 90 minutes and wins La Liga. What're ya gonna do 🤷🏼♂️
