Dorset Police received a report at 1.36pm on Monday, April 14 April of a man requiring medical attention in Malmesbury Park Road, Charminster. 

Paramedics also attended and were helped by the police officers. 

However, the man – aged in his 50s – was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Residents saw crime scene forensics officers going into the home on Monday afternoon. 

A Dorset Police spokesman said: “His next of kin is aware and HM Coroner has been notified. The death is not being treated as suspicious. 

“Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died at this difficult time.”
