Sorry Geo, as a goal keeping coach myself I have to say Areola is a very good keeper and as Fabianski has probably has another full season and his age plus as you have said he has had a couple of injury issues, I know we have RANDOLPH and he has been a good servant to West Ham but he is not in the same class as Areola, if in games when Areola plays and he shines and on other matches he plays really well other clubs may come a calling as we only have him on loan.
I love Fabianski but realistically we can't rely on him too much, as Geo said he is a bit injury prone and he's not getting any younger. Would love to see him retire with us, as long as it's the best for both him and us.

No it’s not we have a perfect goal keeper, we need some who is 23 how has championship experience…. So he can play the cup games for a year the be our number 1 when fab leaves there is no point of having two ageing goalie one returning next year and one 2/3 years time
We need to start looking at the future not the present as it cost the bored to much
Forget Lingard, the last six games of the season he was average. Pereira is a much better option. Arellano definitely our No 1. Last season Fabianski was dodgy on a number of times.

" We still need a few bodies in , we need a striker , but it's a start " , I would say that's a bit of a understatement , we must need at least 5 more , and 3 of those would have to be starters , so a GK ( hopefully done deal ) – FW – AM – LB and a CB , plus a backup CM and FW .
Does he come and claim crosses? That's what makes and breaks a keeper imho.

This would be perfect, been saying as soon as it was obvious Fulham were down we need to nail this bloke. Can't believe West Ham would do something perfect, so as usual will wait until he is holding the shirt.

Couldn’t really class him as a major signing. Especially if it turns out to be loan with no option to buy.
Whilst I don’t put much faith in what I read but an article today suggested we offered less than 10 mill for Johnstone and it was rejected. Seems we are back to our old ways AGAIN, the Firpo deal allegedly went sideways due to this and then Leeds came knocking.
I imagine the same will happen with Abraham, if anything does actually come of that rumour and it appears Hlozek will be going elsewhere also.
Concerned that we will literally end up with no-one and recycling last season AGAIN.
