i dont think Amorim has made a mistake with Rashford. Rashford had a big public falling out with Amorim & was & has not played well for United for some time his time was up & it was good for both United & Rashford to go now hopefully it will be permanent & both can move on
As a United fan for the 100th time the consensus is we do not want Rashford back.
I personally am not getting swayed by the Rashford at Villa is putting in performances narrative. He is around better players in a settled club, so looks better.
He should be shipped out to a mid table team next season, he missed his chance to go PSG About 2-3 seasons ago, he is not that good at the top level if we are honest
Rashford is an average player at best, as well as being completely self serving.
He did nothing for the majority of the champs lg game, villa fans got on his back, and he decided to do what he did for 20 minutes….now everyone is turning into a fan boy and ignoring the reality why he was put on loan in the first place. His attitude stank for the last two yrs, and going behind Amorim and meeting up with a reporter has done rashford no favours, wheather its his team or not, its still on rashford as he pays these people. Not training acting petchulant…bring him back, he will get too comfortable again, and the whole process starts over again.
People are forgetting that we had a leak in the dressing room. Two players left out and only one person got defensive, the other came back fighting.
Amorim has made mistakes. Letting Rashford leave was not one of them.
Rashford joined Villa for 4 months and we have had to wait for 2.5 months for a major contribution (in a defeat) for people to try and run with this narrative. Says it all.
so what was the excuse for rashford for the 2years before amorim arrived? Was that ten hags fault ? – The manager whom he had his best ever season under and then didnt even thank the man when he got sacked? I didn't see last night's game but I caught a bit of the commentary on the radio and they said Rashford was having a nightmare before Villa equalised.
I can't say I've seen every minute of Rashford's time at Villa but it seems like he's only been able to look good for about 20 minutes when VIlla have been playing against decent or better sides and has saved his best performances for the likes of Preston, Cardiff, 10-man Bruges etc.
I'll be delighted if Villa and other clubs go along with the media's view that Rashford has been world-class this year and want to sign him because it will mean United won't have to give him a big pay-off to take a wage-cut at Villa or it will mean United can ask other clubs for more than the £40 Million fee they've already agreed with Villa, should Villa decide they don't want to pay him about £400k-a-week!

It’s clear his made a mistake. Utd are 3 points off 17th while Rashford is playing and competing well in the quarters of the champions league. Since his joined Villa, no player has assisted more than him. It’s clear who the culprit is here, and it’s not Rashford.

As a neutral the way I see it is that Villa is a team with few, if any, egos .. and that kind if environment is just maybe better for Rashford. If I were Rashford and had the option.. I would stay at Villa. Why would anyone want to play for UTD just because of their name? Play for a team.. not a name with lots of individual egos.

No, Amorim didn't make a mistake. Rashford might have worn the Man Utd shirt, but his performances over the last 2 seasons suggested he didn't deserve to wear it!! They will be lucky to get £25m for him. I'd say Emery made the mistake of playing Rashford instead of Watkins.
