I dont think he downed tools at united i think he was struggling with confidence and like united are now just doing badly. A new manager, fresh tactics and a change of scenery has just rejuvenated him.

I didn't see the game but they said on the radio that Rashford was having a nightmare before Villa equalised.
I can't say I've seen every minute of Rashford's time at Villa but it seems like he's only been able to look good for about 20 minutes when VIlla have been playing against decent or better sides and has saved his best performances for the likes of Preston, Cardiff, 10-man Bruges etc.
I'll be delighted if Villa and other clubs go along with the media's view that Rashford has been world-class this year because it will mean United won't have to give him a big pay-off to take a wage-cut at Villa or it will mean United can ask for more than the £40 Million fee they've already agreed with Villa, should Villa decide they don't want to pay him about £400k-a-week!

It's total rubbish what they are saying every football fan knows Manchester United from the top of the organisation to the playing squad has been run like a circus over the past 10 years and even more so over the last 3-4 years. Rashford has walked into a club like many others that have left United and has walked into a well oiled and well managed football club with a clear vision as well as clear style of play. Rashfords form and effort at Villa is more damning on United than the player
