  1. No, J. David did not do enought with the exception of about 15-20 minutes in the second half against Morocco when he was subbed in… But either way, J. David will not benefit leaving Lille in January even if there is interest. He did not do enough to "earn" a transfer if you want to equate it to something like "earning" the right to play in the World Cup… But the footy landscape seems to be suggesting that a striker like David is needed by several teams, but in my opinion, a transfer to a a top club is not earned. I mean, maybe he goes to team like Sunderland in the Championship or a Crystal Palace side… But David's lack of confidence, aggressiveness, and lack of selfishness with the ball reared it's ugly head- and he delivered an ugly performance… I also think he might not have the temperament to play for a guy like Ten Hag. Getting transferred to a Ten Hag run Man United seems more like punishment to me… So maybe, it's best if J. David stays where he is with Lille for the remainder of the season and then we can reassess the situation.

  2. Where do you get this info from Italia League is very technical but not as fast as the Premier League that's why alot of older strikers last along time in Italian football

  3. He didn't help himself at the WC. But it's only 3 games. He's still leading scorer in France and his market value will likely be the same if he still scores at Lille, 50 million. Strikers who strike always have value.

  4. David is one of the best Canadian players to ever play and will be are all time top scorer. However he doesn’t have that step to move to a champions league contender club unless he develops clinical striking power and accuracy
