I think Nima hits it exactly. I'm not sure Maignan would be someone I would want to replace because it seems like beyond having longevity, goalkeepers are tremdously hard to replace. If any needed to stay after a revolution it would be him. Other than that… spot on.
I don't think Maignan is a problem (Theo Hernardez, central defenders Musah and some other players should go instead) and he is one of the few who has leadership, the problem is that his contract expires in 2026. But yes I think Milan needs an Italian sporting director (or one who knows Serie A like Tare), an Italian coach and some Italian players, I would go for Elia Caprile or Carnesecchi, Diego Coppola or Comuzzo and Samuele Ricci
Maignan is the least of their problems. I'd like him and pulisic to leave and join a club that is not ass

Important for Italian clubs to do well in Europe (regardless of which italian side you support in my opinion).
Milan needs to sign Retegui, Udogie, Carneschi, Cheisa for cheap, Scalvini.
He’s still a good GK and plays well with his feet—his passing and long balls are strong, which is crucial in the modern game. The real issue with Milan’s defense lies in their central defenders and defensive midfielders. They’re missing the kind of presence they once had with players like Kessié, Tonali, and a leader at the back like Kjær.
