  1. I do think Kvara is the biggest X factor for PSG. He is easily top 3 left wingers currently, however what makes him special is his mindset. He is the one who presses opponents, comes back a lot of times and helps defense, recovers balls (literally saved from a goal against Liverpool), rotates from left wing to the right without any issues. Can play with both logs and is dangerous in 1v1 situations.
To say simply, he added competition in the team, therefore both Doue and Barcola are forced to lvl up their game, otherwise they will stay on the bench.

  2. Finally, someone who can properly explain PSG's transformation. I have watched many videos explaining this, but they are never accurate like this.

For example, if someone has been watching all matches, they would have noticed the difference that occurred in the ball control of the team the time when Neves joined and patterned with Vitinha.

I have been seeing the entire transformation one step at a time, and it's really amazing. It's like in the UCL, i have seen how most people are shocked by the current results, but everyone who was following you would have seen the signs.

At some point, there was also the Dembele effect. He stepped up, but he also helped other guys like Barcola and Doue to step up as well. Those guys were good, but they used to be scared to be direct in UCL, but eventually, they developed. Also, small wins over big teams like Man City had a huge boost on confidence.

  3. how did you manage going thru this analysis without talking about 2 of the best fullbacks in the world: Hakimi and Mendes? these 2 are essential to Enrique’s tactics…having incredible speed and stamina to outnumber opponents in transitions!
