According to The Telegraph, Chelsea have identified Villarreal star Yeremy Pino as a potential candidate to replace Mason Mount should the latter fail to pen fresh terms at Stamford Bridge.
One of the players in their sights is Villarreal winger Yeremy Pino. The 19-year-old is a serious talent who has thrived under Unai Emery at the Estadio de La Ceramica. This has seen him attract attention from several top clubs, with Chelsea too now joining the list.
The Spaniard played a role in the Yellow Submarines’ surprise run to last season’s UEFA Champions League semifinals. Still just 19, he has time to refine his game and develop into a truly world-class star in the years to come.
Pino will cost Chelsea over £40 million and is now a full international for Spain. The longer the Blues wait to make their move, the more likely he will cost more. Moving fast could see Chelsea land themselves an upcoming match-winner on the cheap.
