This is how the Almighty God—our Lord Jesus Christ—tells us to study His Word:
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Rightly dividing means recognizing the distinctions God has made in His Word—especially between the Jew, the Gentile, and the Church of God (1 Corinthians 10:32).
Confusing these groups leads to doctrinal disaster.
Take this for example:
• James, writing to the twelve tribes of Israel (James 1:1), says, “faith without works is dead.”
• Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles, says, “to him that worketh not, but believeth… his faith is counted for righteousness.” (Romans 4:5)
So which one is it?
If you don’t rightly divide, you’ll end up trying to mix law and grace, Israel and the Body of Christ, the kingdom gospel with the gospel of grace.
That’s not faithfulness—that’s confusion.
And confusion is exactly what you get when you follow pastors who switch back and forth every Sunday, just to sound deep or get deeper in your pockets.
God has one message for the Jew, another for the Gentile, and one new man in Christ for us today—the Church.
Know who you are. Know where you stand. Rightly divide the Word of truth.
