Welcome back to Stick to Football, brought to you by Sky Bet! This week, Jamie Carragher returns to join Gary Neville, Roy Keane, Jill Scott, and Ian Wright for another action-packed episode.

We’re kicking things off with a huge thank you to all our fans as we celebrate winning Best YouTube Channel at the Sports Journalism Awards. Your support has been incredible, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Jamie shares what he’s been up to, including a trip to Malta to watch his son represent the national team.

Then we welcome a special guest, Roy’s daughter, Caragh Keane, who introduces the team to SUPERKEEN, her new cereal brand designed to support an anti-inflammatory lifestyle! Check out SUPERKEEN here – https://superkeenfoods.com/

The team then turn their attention to one of the biggest transfer rumours currently, Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid. Where Jamie Carragher shares his thoughts on what it would mean for Trent’s legacy at Anfield, while Neville questions whether a switch to La Liga would suit his style of play.

The discussion then moves onto England and the start of Thomas Tuchel’s tenure as manager. The team debate who has impressed and who has struggled in his first two games in charge. One of the biggest concerns remains Phil Foden, with so much talent, what does it take to unlock his full potential in an England shirt?

Plenty of big topics, big opinions, and big debates in this one, hit like, let us know your thoughts in the comments, and make sure you’re subscribed so you never miss an episode.

  1. Everything Gary said about the current England formation/system and the Golden Generation's including the players he would've picked is absolutely spot on..

IMO it has to change depending on who you pick in the starting 11 and if that means leaving out a Foden/Scholes for the benefit of the team's balance then so be it.. Something 99% of England managers haven't had the balls to do!

  2. Carragher is wrong TAA should have been sold with two years left on his contract when Klopp was still secure and in the role if he wasn’t going to sign – this is from an arsenal fan

  3. I'm a Sunderland fan loved Roy as manager his no nonsense approach brilliant! Me and my dad always had a soft spot for man u and the good day and now we both follow Salford soooo Gary why not give Roy the job for 18 months and see what happens

  4. It’s not about hoping he flops… every Liverpool fan should want Madrid to play shit every week. Trent joining them doesn’t change anything.

  5. When talking about scholes, Gary did slip up and say 433 and “that’s where he would’ve played” he obviously meant 532 when Jamie pulled him up on it 😂

  6. Lol 😆 they are really discussing about the future of Trent, but not for once have they ever questioned if he's happy at the club or not.. clowns

  7. I think England need to play a 4-2-4 with Foden as the second 9 playing just behind Kane off the left. let Gordon or whoever play wide on the left and have Kane and Foden dropping deep or running in behind alternately. Foden can cut in and out and play the little 1-2's with Gordon and Kane and actually get in spots to produce

  8. Trent would be better off going to Atletico. A beast of a coach, a team that loves to fight, and the chance to be the main man. It would transform him as a player and a man.

  9. Im a united fan n looking at the trent, VVD and Salah situation I honestly think liverpool are doing the right thing if it comes down to money. At united we've had 34yr olds come in and being highest paid player but Liverpool broke there was structure with salah now it looks like they're offering similar money and he wants more but they've already broke the structure n they won't break it again for a 30+ year old. Trent wants to go sample abroad but Liverpool will be fine bringing Bradley through more, I honestly think Liverpool arnt budging with trent because they have a very good youngster coming through who's better off the ball n can improve more on the ball but that's trents issue they arnt going to over him even more when they have a replacement already
